Years ago, when younger and lots lighter (many pounds ago) I used to love dancin', in fact at times i was complimented on my dancing. I don't know basic dance moves, but I moved with the beat, the way the songs touched me. I even learned some line dancing and country dancing. Now I still move to the beat, but mostly in my chair while listening. Laura Bell Bundy gave me a WORKOUT...felt GREATTTTTTT.

...Laura co-wrote 11 of the 12 songs on this release, and the way they are placed on here is fun. The first 6 are the ACHIN' songs : Drop On By ( my FAVE ), Curse The Bed, Cigarette, Please, Homecoming Queen and When It All Goes South. These show the soft, tender side of Laura Bell Bundy plus her vocal ability. Some have a bluesy feel to them, but all well done with lots of emotion. Goes with the front cover of the CD. A black gown, hair up, a very mature look.
....The last 6 songs, not only are they SHAKIN' they show sass, attitude, butt kickin' abilities of this lady. Like 2 different people, one girl had the suffering this one is fed up with being used, mistreated and cheated on. Tunes like Giddy On Up ( her first single and HOT video), I'm No Good For Ya Baby, Rebound, Boyfriend ( could be a sizzler video ), If You Want My Love and Everybody all had me groovin' in my seat, wanting to go to a country dance club and cut loose. A great combo of tunes, very well done. The back cover shows her in a short dress, cutting loose, one of the old portable record players, 45 records, tile floor and a floor model/cabinet television...mood and atmosphere. ENJOY...I did every time I listened.
