Tanya Tucker-Singles & Doubles-4 Stars ( Enjoyment )

...This is like a second inning for Tanya Tucker, going to the plate again to grand slam way out hits, many are like home runs. As the title says: singles and doubles, some (most) are by herself while other songs have her being coached at plate. Some of the hit singles were; Just Another Love, If It Dont Come Easy, Strong Enough To Bend, My Arms Stay Open All Night, Soon and Two Sparrows In A Hurricane (#1 of my main faves) and the doubles following ; Why Dont We Just Sleep On It (Glen Campbell), Tell Me About It (Delbert McClinton), Borrowed Wings (Vince Gill), Dont Go Out (T. Graham Brown) and I Wont Take Less Than Your Love (Paul Davis and Paul Overstreet-#2 of my faves).

...These hits came out after Tanya seemed to go through a dry spell, but they started coming regularly, like a second wind for her. After these it seemed like she just had not peeked anymore, maybe too many new artists, or a change in listener taste. If you liked the young Tanya, you will love the mature Tanya, and this lady can still carry a tune and pick winners.

........Enjoy another trip down the musical memory lane.
